Dear DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur Team,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional service my mother and I experienced during our recent stay at your esteemed hotel from May 22nd to May 27th, 2024.
From the moment we arrived, the warmth and hospitality of your staff were evident. The check-in process was smooth, and the signature warm cookie at check-in is always a delightful treat that we look forward to. The staff's friendliness and professionalism continued throughout our stay, making us feel welcome and valued at every interaction.
One particular highlight was our daily breakfast at Makan Kitchen. Despite the early hour of 6:30 am, your team consistently greeted us with warm smiles and attentive service. The breakfast buffet spread was nothing short of amazing—delicious, diverse, and meticulously prepared. It was the perfect start to our day.
Returning to our room after a day out in the city was always a pleasure. The comfy bed, fresh and crisp linen, and perfectly fluffed pillows provided a restful retreat. The housekeeping team did a fantastic job ensuring our room was impeccably clean and inviting each day.
This recent stay marks my fifth time at DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur, and it reaffirms my decision to choose your hotel whenever I visit KL. The consistent excellence in service, comfort, and overall experience keeps me coming back. I truly have no hesitation in recommending your hotel to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur.
Please extend my sincere gratitude to all the staff members who contributed to making our stay so enjoyable. Their dedication and hard work do not go unnoticed and are greatly appreciated.
Thank you once again for the wonderful experience. I look forward to many more stays at Doubletree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur!

The Ridge @ KL East Mall & Condominium - block A 23A-03 .
The Ridge @ KL East Mall & Condominium - block A 23A-03 .Impressed by the 4.9-star rating, I decided to book a two-night staycation. Unfortunately, it turned into a nightmare. I didn't expect such a high rating to be unreliable. Basic cleanliness was nonexistent, despite paying a higher rate for a two-bedroom unit. We checked in at 10:30 PM, discovered ants, bugs, and cockroaches. I left the unit just after midnight. Additionally, the key box was malfunctioning, and over the phone, she mentioned she was aware of it. I took photos and videos as evidence, as I don't want this to happen to another guest.

We stayed in Bukit Bintang area which seemed to be a tourist area, so lots of street foods, restaurants, souvenir shops, malls, massage and spa business. The Pavilion Mall was a popular recommendation from locals, just a Mall with brand name shops. Also, the Berjaya Times Square and The Exchange are other popular Malls.
I didn't have any favorite restaurant or place because I was experiencing things as they are, and not trying to judge or compare. The general experience was great, and I would probably visit again in the future.
Prices are affordable, the locals were friendly and helpful. Generally most people speak or understand English, so it is easy to get around. The exchange rate was similar across bureaus so we did not have to compare much. Just make a pick of where to change your money.
The hop-on hop-off bus is a good way to see the city by day, and then the City of Lights tour by night.
There seemed to be lots of vehicle traffic, so plan your time well in
advance if you intend to use taxi or travel by car. For instance, it took our taxi driver a hour to get to us, when normally it would only take 2-10 minutes! Luckily we had booked the taxi for hours ahead of our flight, so we had lots of time...
I got the sense that KL is set up as a tourist city and so be ready to do tourist stuff :-)
Terima kasih!

Everything is expensive and there's traffic congestion in most places. A high level of patience is needed when entering KL. To all travelers, I salute you for being able to walk in KL. Even in the heat, you endure it.

KL is a beautiful city rich in history with a beautiful mix of people across Asia. There are many things to see in KL and I wish I had stayed longer to see more! The food is amazing, and you’ll have no trouble finding somewhere to eat in KL, and many people will try to help you if you need directions. Malay is definitely not a language I know, so I was grateful many people understood English. Do be aware that the city can get very warm and humid, so make sure you’re hydrated. Using Grab is the best way around the city and felt very safe using it. You might have random thunder and rain but they are short lived ( it is after all a tropical country). There are many food markets to go to as well.
Service - Mr Felix was excellent. The check in and check out was smooth. Welcome entree brownies was amazing
Room - Hardly get connected room in many hotels in KL. But Ritz Carlton is giving the best option to
those parents who travelling with kids. The pillows and bed was comfortable. Love the rain shower and toiletteries set
Location - 5 minutes walking distance to Pavillion and Bukit Bintang. A bit traffic to access to hotel during rush hour
By far was the best luxury 5 stars hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Looking forward to come again
Newly-built hotel with great facilities and amenities, located in the middle of Bukit Bintang entertainment district. We received a free upgrade to a larger room upon arrival which was a nice surprise. Our luggage did not make it on the flight and the hotel staff were very helpful in helping us retrieve it from the airline as well as providing recommendations and booking transport. The price was also very reasonable when compared to other hotels of the same standard in the area.
As for the 1st timer like me to stay in this kind of hotel, it was really an excellent stay.. the view was completely stunned! The twin tower view was superb! As for the breakfast spread totally meet my expectation for this 5 star hotel! My family was really happy! Bilik selesa sgt! Lg stu winning point traders ni sbb ada free buggy services utk one way atau return ke KLCC.. nk berjalan pn okay since it was really close..
Very clean. Very good and excellent services. Thanks to the staff for your kind assistance during my stay. One of the budget hotels highly recommended to choose. Easy to get the Grab, just nearby KL Sentral. Very convenient place. Never regret and for sure will come again. Why need to pay more if we have the better and cheapest hotels in KL. 🥰🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Its one of those rare 5 star hotels where you can actually feel comfortable. Facilities are great, loved the pool! Room was spacious, comfy and clean, but what makes the hotel special is the staff. They go above and beyond to make sure you have the perfect stay, all that with a friendly kindness whilst also staying professional. Location is great as well, right next to KL Sentral.
Spacious hotel for the price! Views from the roofdeck are stunning. It's the best place to get a view of Kuala Lumpur without breaking a sweat. The nearby restaurant had the best waitstaff and a thoughtful breakfast buffet for 90 MYR. Tofayel was the best! He went over and beyond assisting me, even booking a Grab for me to go to the airport after my stay. He was very prompt.
Shangri La never go wrong, it is always exceptional! Sparkling clean and the best service among other 5 stars hotel in KL. We feel like home with the hospitality from the friendly staffs, feeling so secure because everyone greets us nicely. The scrumptious foods at the horizon club indulge us every day. The staffs are very attentive too!
unique blend of Japanese Asian cuisines more like buffet dinner at 5 star Hotels like Hilton Shangri La . heavy weight Breakfasts (free with Genius reviewer) .One can relax in live piano session in English colonial styled restaurant with Hainan chicken ,english afternoon high tea immersing in bygone era of of 1950s.
Location is in the middle of KLCC and Bukit Bintang. Great customer service from all their hotel staff. Especially reservation team for acknowledging my request for my booking. They also sent a few updates before my stay. Overall the best value you can find for a hotel with KLCC view.
Bed was comfortable. Local staff was very nice and professional. 15 min walk to bukit bintang area. However its a old budget hotel with small rooms. Very average condition overall (only main recieption area is renovated a bit nicely as shown in pics at booking.com)
Chic modern style hotel. love the interior works. The food at breakfast buffets is 5 star (lots of choices and tastes excellent)Lunch food is also delicious and value for money. very friendly staff both at reception and restaurant.
The location of the hotel is @ Jln. Bukit Bintang… This location is close to KL day & night activities and to the central market area and to Chinese market area…
The toilet was equipped with hand bidet (Shattaf).
Location is near Sentral station walking distance , restaurants nearby , hotel and room was clean. Wifi was okay. Room was spacious with two beds. Very good budget friendly hotel value for money spend.
I'm impressed about location nearest Bukit Bintang and KLCC also Kg Baru . Easy get food - restaurant and night market at Masjid JAMEK and Jalan TAR.....I'm sure Ill come and stay this hotel .....
high class property. feels like staying at 5 star hotel. the bed meet hotel standard. it was extremely comfortable sleeping here that i sneak peak at the brand of the mattress
Great location, very convenient for travelling to and fro the KL airport using KLIA Express. The hotel is also linked to Nu Sentral mall which makes dining convenient.
Great 5 🌟
Staff are very professional
I have extended my stay for more 9 nights despite the offers from other 5 star hotels . I hope they keep the good work
